A friend reminded me of this going on again this year. My last year's attempt was only around 30k words, so fell drastically short of the grand total. This year my friend is going to give it a shot and I'm staying by the sidelines to cheer. For those that don't know what it is, it's National Novel Writing Month. Go there and give it a shot if you've got the mad skills! Even if I enter nothing I may try it anyway, though my recent ideals are more towards the graphic instead of the purely literary.
